Development Project Comes In Under Budget
Eric and I had a meeting with one of our SugarCRM clients today to review two projects we just completed for them and to discuss a couple of new projects we'll be starting in the coming weeks. This is a fairly regular event for us. We discuss what went well with the project and what could have been done better. But during this meeting, a funny thing happened.
We discovered that we were way under the client's budget for both projects. How often does that happen with a custom software development project?
So the client will be able to apply the time we didn't use on these projects to a big new project they are starting this week, saving precious budget dollars for automation projects that will make their CRM system....and their business, even more efficient.
Turns out this was a win for everyone involved. The client got their work completed on schedule and under budget. And UpCurve Cloud got two new projects and a chance to earn the client's business once again.
