Gmail Updated with New Search Options

by Koosha Araghi on February 18, 2014

The powerful search tools you’re used to in Gmail continues to get better. This week, Google is rolling out updates to allow for the ability to search and filter by size. Now you can quickly find those large attachments that are taking too much space or that you’ve already moved over to Google Drive.

While the option to search by size have previously existed, they required users to manually enter search operators such as “size:” or “larger:” before the search query. The latest update can be accessed by simply clicking the arrow in the search bar at the top of your Gmail screen.
