Recap of the Sugar World Tour at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium
Earlier this month UpCurve Cloud co-hosted the SugarCRM World Tour event in Arlington, Texas. The event was held field-level at the AT&T Stadium - home of the Dallas Cowboys. It was a huge success all around from the venue to the content and Sugar 7 demo.
The event kicked off with networking and breakfast, while attendees were able to step onto the field and take pictures. I was joined by my colleagues David Hyman and Aaron Wine at the event. We didn’t waste any time making our way onto the field to take pictures. I believe Aaron even left a business card in the field goal post.
After we were exhausted from taking pictures (and in Aaron’s case running 40-yard sprints), all of the attendees, Sugar employees, and partners sat down in the Miller Lite meeting room for the opening presentation. SugarCRM’s CEO, Larry Augustin, gave a corporate overview and welcomed everyone to the event while inches away from the Dallas Cowboys press conference room.
Following Larry’s intro was the demo of SugarCRM’s latest release, Sugar 7. The demo showed off Sugar 7’s new dashboards, inline editing, activity streams, forecast module, and more. UpCurve Cloud customer, H.D. Vest also attended the event in Arlington. They sat on the customer panel and spoke about their experiences migrating from their homegrown CRM system, implementing SugarCRM, and using UpCurve Cloud's PCI compliant Sugar hosting platform. The event wrapped up with a great Q&A session among existing customers and attendees. There are a few SugarCRM World Tour events coming up.
