Applying Filters to Sugar Activity Dashlets

When you are setting up Activity dashlets in Sugar, you might find this tutorial on how to apply filters useful.

As an example, we will apply filters to a List View dashlet that displays records from the Meetings module.

Click on the gear to configure your dashlet.

Then, click on the Filter dropdown button to view your filters.

You can select any existing filter or create a new one.

It is important to note that if you are creating dashboards that need to be copied over to other users while displaying personalized information for each of them (for instance, meetings that have been assigned to a particular salesperson), try using the ‘My List.’ option.

That way, each user will see their meetings in Sugar after copying dashlet over to them, with no other updates required.

We hope you found our quick walkthrough helpful. For more information on Sugar or updating dashlets, don’t hesitate to contact us.
