If you thought that Day 1 was jam-packed with lots of exciting activities, Day 2 was just as productive!

Act-On Marketing Automation Software Partner Meeting

We kicked off the morning with a partner meeting with our favorite marketing automation software, Act-On where we got to learn about future product developments. If you are a customer of UpCurve Cloud, you may know that we did a Marketing Automation Bootcamp on 4/14 which gave an initial taste of Act-On and marketing automation. From what we saw at the Partner Meeting on Wednesday, we can only say that Act-On will be releasing some incredible features that are not available with any other competitor. If you are interested in learning more about Act-On get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to give you a tour.

Welcome and Day 2 Keynote / Stop the Excuses and Start Doing It: Steps Towards Redefining the Customer Experience

In his keynote, Rick Parris a Senior Analyst at Forrester Research discussed the customer experience ecosystem and how it determines the quality and defines the limits of every experience your company delivers.

UX Lab

The UX Lab gave us an opportunity to check out some of the latest pre-release features and interact with the UX team. In our upcoming SugarCRM User Group on May 19th we will review all of these new features. To receive information about our User Group make sure to sign up for our mailing list on the right hand side of this blog post. New features that were presented in the UX Lab include:

  • Sweet Spot (Global Search Shortcut)
  • Tagging
  • Google Maps Integration
  • Social
  • Inline Help
  • Opportunities enhancements
  • Quotes enhancements
  • Communications (low level marketing automation within Sugar)
  • Role Based Views
  • Mobile Improvements

App Throwdown

The App Throwdown was without a doubt the highlight of Wednesday’s activities. With over 50 submissions from 40 different companies it must have been quite a feat to pick the best in class winners.

Each company that won best in class came up to present and do a demonstration. We especially appreciated Entrinsik’s humor with their intricate costume:

The winners of best in class categories were:

1. Mobile

2. Seamless Integration

3. Data, Information, and Analytics

4. Customer Experience and Engagement

5. Beyond CRM

Findability Sciences

Voting to decide who was the winner of the App Throwdown was crowdsourced so everyone in the audience was able to vote via internet or mobile device. A huge congratulations to Pixel Harmonia with their win!
