Act-On New Features and Upgrades for October 4, 2018

Released on October 4th, 2018

Enhancements

New Contact Report

The new Contact Report replaces the Activity History report to provide you with a comprehensive view of a contact's profile and behavioral data. This update delivers not only a new, cleaner UI but a number of new, streamlined and enhanced features within the report. Some of these new capabilities include the ability for Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and SugarCRM connected customers to navigate from the Contact Report to the similar Account Report to see a roll-up of the multiple contact's behaviors and attributes in a given Account. Furthermore, sales users will now be able to access this updated report using the same buttons already installed in your CRM via the Act-On CRM plugins.
There is plenty more to see in the new reports so please see the Contact Report  and Account Report documentation in the University to learn all about it.

Sugar Connector Notification Extended to Alert on Failure Due to Invalid Credentials

In this release, we've extended the Sugar connector failure email to notify administrative users when their Sugar integration has become disconnected due to insufficient user permissions. Failure will occur when a user attempts to interact with Sugar from the Act-On platform in a manner which the permissions associated with their role in Sugar do not support. The email notification will include specific information about the error message from Sugar to provide visibility into resolution steps.

Various Bug Fixes and Minor Enhancements

  • Progressive profiling forms were not being shown as expected on repeat visits when accessed via Gated Content URL
  • URL parameters were not being persisted on Gated Content URLs
